1.13 Passwords

Three different passwords can be set for a project.

  • Open — if this password is set, it requires the password to be entered every time the project is opened.
  • Edit — if this password is set, the project will be opened in read-only mode and can only be edited if the edit password is entered.
  • Download — if this password is set, the configuration can only be downloaded if this password is specified.

1.13.1 Opening a password protected project file

To open a password protected project file, open the file as usual. When a password protected file is opened, a dialog will show, prompting the user to enter the password.

1.13.2 Editing a read-only project

When the password to edit is set, the project can only be edited after entering the edit password. To edit a project in read-only mode, press the Password protected! box and enter the edit password.
