1.17 Fatal Errors

Internal or external errors will result in the unit going to Fatal Error (Safe State). In the Fatal Error state, the unit does not communicate via radio or CAN, and all outputs are turned off (set to 0V, not the OFF-state). The lower 6 LEDs on the LED panel are red, and the numbered LEDs display the error code. The code is binary coded on the display. The unit can only leave the Fatal Error state by power cycling the unit.

A fatal error can also be triggered from inside logic, for certain signals (for example, an error on a relay output could set the entire unit in fatal error). This is done using the Fatal Error block. There are a total of 256 different error codes that can be selected for each node.
